Works almost as well as advertised so long as you follow the directions and put it in the fridge (yes, even red as much as it pained me at first!). Out of the fridge it still works for a good 48-72hrs depending on the age of the wine but in the fridge, 5 days and most wine still drinks great! I use this pretty much every time I open a bottle unless its already in use or I am pour the whole bottle for guests (though I still use it sometimes as a 'quick decanter') Only systems I have tried that out perform this consistently are the high end argon systems you see in tasting rooms and the likes. This works way better than any rubber topper with or without vacuum pump and even better than argon bottles and corking.

Yes, a wine snob, 400+ bottle cellar, pretty solid palate, into more-subtle wines like burgundies, even (once) nailed a blind wine wine tasting of an aged Italian red. I have owned pretty much every wine preserving system, whether vacuum, air displacement, argon, or whatever. This little system works amazingly well, and does a better job than gas (unless you buy industrial tanks) and the vacuum pumps for sure. I can drink a glass or two from a bottle, pour it in, seal it up and then 2-3 days later it is still at 95% of what it was, and often, because my daily wines are just nice young wines ($10-20), they have actually improved. I bought the plastic and it works great. I'll try the glass one for sure, but the plastic one cleans really easily, often I just rinse with filtered water.

Worth it!
I thought about buying this for a while but at about $45 it seemed like a LOT for a glass carafe! Anyway I am glad I finally did, I think it's an excellent product and I save so much wine now that it pays for itself pretty quickly if you also like to open a bottle of wine and not always finish it the same day.

Keeps wine fresh!
This is my second Savino wine carafe. We are very pleased with how long the wine stays fresh. It is easy to clean and easy to use. I’ve given these as gifts and everybody has been thrilled with it. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase this handy wine saver.

Keeps wine perfect
I am the only one who drinks here and I only have a maximum of two glasses at one time...And even perhaps none the next night. I was always having to pour out a half bottle of wine, until I discovered this item. This is my second one (my husband broke my first one), so I've been using the Savino Wine Preserver for several years now. It keeps my wine perfect from one time 'til the next!

This holds wine fresh for quite a while. My husband can drink his wine for 5-6 days while my taste buds tell me 4. It definitely preserves the just opened taste! Definitely worth it! Get one, you will not regret it!

Buying this product again
Love my Savino Wine Preserver. Now I am buying them as gifts. The wine carafe is easy to use, simply pour in the wine from the bottle. Simply put on the stopper and wine is saved. Open and close as often as needed. Wine tastes good day after day. Now I can open a bottle of my premium wine and drink it through the week without it losing it’s wonderful flavor.

I first saw this product on I WANT THAT but price wise Amazon was more reasonable. Open a bottle on Sunday and each day I will drink a little to see how the flavor taste...well its Friday and still taste delicious. Now I know I will get wine lover Friends for Birthdays and Christmas this year.
